CROOKED ISLAND MARINA
RULES AND REGULATIONS
ALL VESSELS MUST CHECK OUT AT OFFICE PRIOR TO DEPARTURE

Any boat that enters the Marina immediately comes under the jurisdiction of the Crooked Island Lodge and Marina Dock Master and management of the Marina. Accordingly, Owner must follow the instructions of such Dock Master or such management of the Marina for the safety and well-being of all persons and boats using the Marina.
ABSOLUTLEY NO DUMPING OF FISH CARCASSES OR FISH WASTE OF ANY KIND INTO BASIN AT ANY TIME. VIOLATION OF THIS RULE WILL RESULT IN BEING ASKED TO LEAVE THE FACILITY. Fish waste is to be placed into plastic bags and put in marina trash receptacles for pick up by marina staff. For especially large carcasses please place on rocky area near base of marina walkway walls for pick up. Feel free to contact marina staff at any time for fish waste pick up. Staff will also pick up and empty any plastic containers containing fish waste. -
Check out time for all boats is 11:00 a.m. local time. Any boats remaining in the Marina after the specified time will be charged an extra day’s slip rental unless prior arrangements have been made with the Marina office.

Marina is open from dawn to dusk daily for fuel sales, no arrivals or fueling after dark permitted.

Please place all trash in receptacles or on top of wall for collection by marina staff. Please let a member of marina staff know if you have waste oil in buckets to be removed as soon as possible. The marina will dispose of waste oil for a $30 fee.

All fuel must be paid for at time of pumping. No exceptions.

Current credit card must be kept on file, all charges will be billed weekly including water, restaurant/bar and store charges. etc.

All visiting boat “stickers” are allowed ONLY in the waterfront bar, NOT on power pedestals, fuel dispensers or any other areas of the marina. We welcome all boat stickers and other decoration in our waterfront sunset bar.

QUIET HOURS After 10:00pm there shall be no loud music, or other exterior loud noise on the docks or promenade behind the slips. Our waterfront sunset bar is available for a modest fee for vessels wishing to have private parties or events. Marina can provide full catering, bar tending staff, or just the facility, please arrange at least 72 hours in advance with marina management.
ALL guests and local vendors must park outside the cabled off area and are not allowed to drive in the marina grounds for any reason. Please do not park in front of the marina garage area. The marina will be happy to provide transport of luggage, crew, and guests directly to the vessel from arriving and departing aircraft by prior arrangement.

Owners shall notify the management of the Marina three (3) days in advance of any period where Owner’s assigned slip shall remain vacant for two (2) or more consecutive days. The Marina shall have the right during any period where the slip is vacant for one (1) or more consecutive days to temporarily use, reassign, and/or lease the slip. The Marina shall make every effort to have the slip vacated and available for Owner’s use prior to the date and time that Owner notifies the Marina that Owner’s boat will return, or if not available, to provide Owner with temporary substitute dockage.

No modifications to marina docks, cleats, pedestals, sidewalks etc. are permitted without prior permission of marina management. This includes drilling or fastening into concrete or wood.

Waste discharge, discharge of heads, boat toilets, holding tanks, gas, or fuel into the marina is a violation of governmental laws and regulations, and our rules, and is strictly prohibited.

Auxiliary Craft: Owner covenants and agrees that all additional boats or crafts, including, without limitation, runabouts, tenders, rowboats, dinghies, must be placed on davits or physically upon Owner’s boat so as not to extend beyond Owner’s boat or slip, and Owner hereby covenants and agrees that if such craft are not capable of being stowed or stored in accordance with this covenant, a slip fee may be charged by the Marina.

Consequential Losses: The Marina is not responsible for any loss to food or any other personal property stored upon a vessel or marina grounds resulting from interruption or discontinuance of electrical service or for any other reason whatsoever. The Marina is not responsible for any losses resulting from interruption or discontinuance of electricity or water service. Any electrical, mechanical, or structural failures related to Marina infrastructure must be reported to Marina management immediately so that such failures may be addressed.

Disorderly Conduct: Disorderly conduct by an Owner or its employees, visitors, guests, family, or others will cause the immediate removal from the Marina of the vessel in question. Public intoxication, profanity, or abusive language directed at anyone will not be tolerated. The Owner of any vessel who causes or threatens harm to the person or property of any other Owner, Marina employee, or member of the public will be subject to immediate removal from the Marina.

Cancellation Policy: Cancellations with:

90 days of date of arrival = full credit toward future slip reservation if used within 1 year from date of original reservation;

60 days of date of arrival = 50% credit toward future slip reservation if used within 1 year from date of original reservation;

30 days of date of arrival = 25% credit toward future slip reservation if used within 1 year from date of original reservation;

10 days of date of arrival = no refund
